PC or Console for Great Graphics and Games
Question
I was just talking to few people, regarding the PC I wanna buy only for gaming purpose. Some one told me, I could get the PS3 for half the price of the PC. I wanna buy a highend CPU and NVIDIA graphics card. I mean I love playing games on the PC, not much of an Age of Empire guy, but more of NFS kinda. I am kinda confused on the graphics, PS3 seems very impressive, but will it be the same with that of my PC or, shall I just go on and buy the PC for greater graphics and satisfaction.
Answer
The best graphics are possible on a PC. The 2nd best is on Xbox 360, and PS3 is slightly behind or equal to Xbox 360 graphics. PC hardware costs more, but PC games typically cost less.

For games like Need for Speed, a game console is usually the optimal device. But if any of the following five conditions is true, then you should definitely consider getting a gaming PC instead.
  1. You play game genres that are best with a mouse or on a PC.
  2. You require the best graphics or graphics better than consoles.
  3. You really like to build your own gaming machine.
  4. You are a computer hardware enthusiast and smart with technology.
  5. You don't really care for split-screen multiplayer.
If the conditions are all false, then get a game console, Xbox 360 or PS3.
