Mold Growing on Roof
Question
why does mold grow on roof shingles?
Answer
Usually, the dark streaks on the asphalt roof shingles are a type of algae known as Gloeocapsa Magma. The algae growth can be a result of warm, humid weather and a lack of direct sunlight.

Clean your roof with Spray & Forget or a homemade diluted bleach solution.
